NNPP members declare loyalty to PDP in Ogo-Oluwa Local Government

Momentum for 2027: NNPP members declare loyalty to PDP in Ogo-Oluwa Local Government.

Indeed, PDP in Ogo-Oluwa Local Government is waxing stronger and becoming more united under the vibrant leadership of the newly elected Party Chairman, Mr. Adediran Olugbade (Baba Onipele).

Today, the atmosphere was filled with excitement as our ever-dedicated State Honourable, Hon. Ogundare Abideen Adeoye, joined other party leaders to warmly receive the new decampees into the PDP family.

A major political realignment unfolded as members of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) officially crossed over to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), signalling a bold step towards a more promising political future.

Led by Adeniji Paul Oluwasegun (Asupofo) from Ogbomoso Zone and coordinated in Ogo-Oluwa by Ilufoye Olusanjo of Ajaawa, the decampees declared their total loyalty to the PDP under the guidance of respected leaders such as PA John Famakin and the newly elected Chairman, Mr. Olugbade Adediran.

The ceremony was graced by several distinguished personalities, including:

Hon. Abideen Adeoye Ogundare (Member, Oyo State House of AssemblyOgo-Oluwa/Surulere)

Hon. Ajala Abraham Onaolapo (Vice Chairman)

Hon. Akinboro Akinsola (State Exco Member)

Hon. Ajadi Solomon (Former Chairman, Ogo-Oluwa Local Government)

PA Odelowo

Mama Ogunwale

Mr. Abel Asa, among many others.

This development has been widely celebrated as a major boost for the PDP in Ogo-Oluwa Local Government, strengthening the party’s structure, expanding its support base, and positioning it for resounding victory in the 2027 elections.

With renewed unity, focused leadership, and increasing acceptance across the local government, the PDP is clearly entering a fresh era of growth, stability, and political dominance in Ogo-Oluwa.

Ibadan circular road

“I will not speak with the protesters anywhere because some people are sponsoring them, what I will do is to come to the area myself and engage with the real people in the area.

I have also heard all the names you are calling me, a thief, a land grabber, etc but I know issues like this come with leadership and I am not bothered

If I leave office in 18months' time and you see my name on any land acquired by the government, pls call me out publicly

I want to thank those who have sent private messages to me to show support, I am also human and sometimes those abuses get to me emotionally and it pains me but some of the messages I received have given me strength”
